The pastries are good but expensive. We had brunch here for the first time last weekend, and based on the price of the pastries and candy, I thought I might need to sell a kidney to eat here, but it wasn't actually that bad. The food came pretty quickly and it tasted good. The portion sizes were not large, but not small. If you were hungry or are a big eater, I don't think one brunch plate will do. But for me, I don't much like to overeat anymore (kind of shun the all you can eat buffets), so the portion size made me feel like I was content, but not at all full. I had an omelette, my daughter had the avocado toast with egg on top, and my wife had some sort of tornado or hurricane thing. It looked good, but the name despite being unique clearly wasn't memorable to me. . .but I'm old, so let's just chalk it up to that. So nice experience, we'd be happy to come here again. Limited selection, but still enough to find something nice to eat. Ordered at the counter, server brought the food out, so service was fine. We sat outside, so ambiance was typical Castro St street ambiance.

I got a chocolate cake from here, it's not extremely sweet, but still decadent. The cakes that are available on a daily basis only serve 4-6 people, anything larger requires a pre order. The smallest size of cake starts around $65. Writing on a piece of chocolate is +$6. They have lots of seating in here, several different kinds of pastries, teas and even olive oils from France! I also saw an advertisement for high tea, looks like a good place to have it!

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I love eating their pastries, they are so delicious. I love the workers, since they are so nice, and I also love hanging out with friends and doing my homework there because the environment is super relaxing. I would definitely recommend to others who are in downtown Castro.
